~ The Professional School ~ Performance and Teaching Diploma Program
The Professional School Performance and Teaching Diploma Program teaches full musicianship through studies in private instrument classes including technique, sight reading, ear training and repertoire. It also encompasses group or private courses including theory, history, performance classes, master classes, recitals, pedagogy and apprenticeship teaching.
The program is open to all instruments taught at the school. Expected work load is 10 hours per week, including class time. An audition is required prior to entrance into the program. Completion of this program leads to a Diploma in Performance or Teaching that is at the A.R.C.T. RCM Level. Examinations are an integral part of studies with our school.
All courses are individually priced, please enquire with the office. Examination prices are extra and may be taken at the Royal Conservatory of Music or with our school by an accredited examiner.
