The Canadian pianist Lindsay Bui has won awards in North America including the Canadian Music Competition for solo and 4 hands/duo piano categories, honorable mention in the Chopin International Piano Competition, Hartford CT in 2016, and has performed with the Burlington Symphony Orchestra in their 2017 Rising Artist concert. She has attended and performed in Amalfi Coast Music Festival, Orford Music Festival, Texas State International Piano Festival, University of Michigan Early Keyboard Institute, Stichting Peter de Grote Festival. She has taken masterclasses from Anton Nel, Ronan O’Hora, James Anagnoson, Luc Beausejour, and others. Recently she has been awarded the David and Marcia Beach Summer Study Award (2022), Richard Iorweth Thorman Jazz scholarship (2020) and the Jean Lumb Art Award Scholarship (2019).

Lindsay is currently pursuing a Master of Music in Piano Performance at the University of Southern California Thornton School of Music with Professor Kevin Fitzgerald. Her Bachelor of Music is obtained from the University of Toronto with Professor Lydia Wong and Enrico Elisi. She has completed her associate diploma (ARCT) in piano performance in 2018 and was a scholarship student in the Phil and Eli Taylor Performance Academy where she studied with Peter Longworth, Michael Berkovsky, and Li Wang.
