Lisa is a fourth-generation pianist with over 40 years of experience and a piano teacher with over 20 years of teaching experience. Following piano studies at Acadia University and Mount Allison University, she established her longstanding private teaching practice in Nova Scotia — a testament to the trust and long-term connections she builds with students and families alike. She began learning flute at age 12 and discovered a passion for performing in concert bands that carried through her university years.

Lisa has served as a church pianist, musical/choral director, with experience in piano performance and community musical theatre — both on stage and in the pit band. She brings a warm, easygoing presence shaped by two decades in teaching, client communications, and community-facing roles. Known for putting students and families at ease,

Lisa is passionate about nurturing long-term musical growth and fostering music as a source of healing, emotional connection, and expression. Lisa is thrilled to have joined the team at Lippert Music Centre in Toronto as Office Assistant and Piano Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year.
