At Lippert, we only work with the most professional, experienced and qualified music teachers in Toronto. Our teachers are talented musicians with experience teaching all genres including classical, jazz, rock, blues, pop and more! Our music instructors have experience in music education, performance, composition, improvisation, and audio engineering. On almost any given day, one of our teachers is out and about in Toronto making incredible music! Our teachers are qualified with one, or several, post-secondary degrees in music and/or education. Furthermore, our classical teachers have additional Royal Conservatory of Music accreditation. Lippert teachers offer lessons in guitar, piano, voice, strings, woodwinds, brass, and more. If your instrument is not on the list, contact us and we can connect you with a teacher for your instrument or instruments you want to learn / have musical coaching with. Our teachers are the heart of our school and have contributed to the success of our music school since 1957.
Professional music teachers in Toronto for all instruments including piano, voice, guitar and more in classical, rock, jazz and pop. Online Lessons are available, as are group lessons, in-home lessons and / or private lessons for in-person musical training with the instrument or instruments of choice.

Charleen Beard (nee Lippert) holds a Masters in Music Education, Bachelor Degrees in both Music and Education, an ARCT in piano, and a Grade 9 Vocal Performance Certificate from the RCM.
Billie-Jane Bolton-Rojo | piano • theory
Billie-Jane Bolton-Rojo is a pianist with a wide range of experience. Since her youth, she has exhibited a breadth of talent and achievement. Billie-Jane began her piano teaching career with Lippert’s in the early 1990’s.

Baritone Maciej Bujnowicz is a recent graduate of the University of Ottawa, in the Master of Music program in performance.

Anna is a graduate of two majors from the Music Academy in Lodz, Poland. In 2004 she received an MMus in viola and in 2005 she received an MMus in Vocal and Acting Performance.

Andrew Matheson is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, composer, and educator based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. A classically trained pianist and guitarist, he has worked many different artists in a variety of styles of music.

Ivana Popovic is a violinist, composer and theatre performer. She has over 25 years of experience of teaching violin, chamber music, piano, theory and composition, and has been working at Lippert since 2006.

Gabriel holds a Doctor of Musical Arts in Piano Performance from the University of Minnesota, and a Master’s Degree from the Conservatoire de Musique de Montreal.

JUNO award winning Soprano Kayla Ruiz holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts with Honours in Vocal Performance from York University, as well as a Master of Music in Historical Performance Voice at the University of Toronto (2020).

Currently pursuing her doctoral studies at the University of Toronto with Shauna Rolston, Sarah completed her Masters in Music at McGill University with Brian Manker.
